Re: Our Budget
I think our budget sometimes reads like a script out of the Goons. Four old sweet wrappers and a dog eared copy of the radio times 1954 thrown in for good measure. and bonus scheme of two sausages which dedded Bluebottle

I'd say that we have an average budget probably. Baker in the paper today said that he was happy with our financial position, but with the death of Paul Bristow, the budget probably has been cut.
Looking at the clubs in our league, i'd say that it is momentum, and not budget which will be the biggest factor. Bradford, Northampton have been in decline, with undoubtedly bigger budgets than ours. But us, Accrington and Stevenage have all been on the up with smaller budgets.
I do, however, fear that our momentum is slowing considerably, and the sooner the new man is appointed, the better.

Baker is a fool if he thinks our budget is enough to stop a one-way ticket back to the BSP.
