id like to know how someone who didnt apply for the job was considered an early favourite. just shows, dont believe anything you read.

Been ripped off by the bookies!! Just lost money on a man who didn't even apply!!! Damn those dastardly moneygrabbers and damn my lack of knowledge of anything!! Boohoo.

Trollope is still being paid very handsomely by Rovers until December so doesn't seem in any rush to take another job. He's already turned down Port Vale. Think he could come to regret this in 6-12 months time. The Torquay job could have been perfect to rebuild his reputation.

Maybe he values money more than reputation? At the end of the day its only Paul Trollope. If i were him and offered the vale job i would have bitten their arm off. he ain't likely to get a better job in his career!

He's just a lazy sod, happy to take the wage and do sod all else, much like the players he signed.......i bet his garden looks fantastic though :clap:

nope. It's classified as an antepost best bet, meaning you take your chances.

in the case of managers, how would you define 'non-runner', anyway.
