I'd love Bristol City away because it's localish, Portsmouth away because I just have a soft spot for Pompey or West Ham away because it would be a great night out.
Unfortunately it's written in the stars that we'll get either the morons up the road or Leyton Orient away

TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

FA Cup - Paul Hirons came on as sub to score the winner and I got on match of the day. Great day! I remember Phil Parkes was drafted in to play in goal and his knees were so bad his Right back had to pick the ball out of the for him!Ausgull wrote:West Ham at Home for me ,Would be a great start to the season.I seem to remember we beat them at home a few years back, I'm not sure of the Cup competition though.

Hopefully make a few quid from that, although gates for these type of matches are often shockingly small. That said, there is obviously a good buzz around Southampton at the moment and fingers crossed they get drawn away on the Saturday (first game of the season) so that we are the first visitors to them after their return to the Championship.
As for the score ...... well we didn't really want the Carling Cup to get in the way now did we!
