Apologies if this is somewhere else,

Any one following it at all? I saw bits of England V Mexico last night (allways awkward when my two countries play each other lol) still it was 1-1 so a good result for me! :-D

Got a fiver on Mexico tho haha

Yeah, I'm watching as much as I can - I'm at work when the games are on though. Mexico had a great result; they've only had a women's programme for 12 years, and although England did seem to be generally the better side, nobody can begrudge them the point - especially with the goal they scored..wow.

I still think England have a good chance of going far in this competition. Germany will be dangerous at home, obviously - they're deserved favourites but looked ropey for the last 10 minutes yesterday. I'm not convinced the USA have enough about them to win (even the ESPN is going crazy for the competition here), and then there's Sweden and Brazil. plus France look really talented.

Don't really blame the Mexican goalkeeper for England's goal. Was a good header, and she's really small! I think she's only 16, too, so it's a fair bet she'll play in more World Cups.

the mexican mens keeper for the 2002 and 2010 world cups was oscar perez and he was only 5'7 the shortest keeper at the tournament! we do a fine line in shorter goalies!

hey- is Paul Buckle still boffing Rebecca Lowe? She's presenting the ESPN coverage of the WWC on US TV.

She needs to ditch that loser and find somebody more in line with her ascent. Villas-Boas? :)
