I saw him play as a lone targetman away at Crewe last season (sorry, season before last) and he was absolutely phemonemal, he tore them apart and at times had three players trying to get the better of him. It remains to this day one of the very best displays I've ever seen by a Torquay player. I'd love to see him given a run as an out and out forward, he really does have a lot to offer in that position.

I've heard he's nailed-on to go to you so I'm sure it'll happen sooner rather than later.

That offers me a lot of encouragement SG. Where was he played predominantly last season for you? There were occasions where I saw him play up top and other times when I saw he was on the wing, so where do you think his best position is?

Ah, thanks for that. I must admit (private life aside) I wasn't sure what sort of player to expect if we signed him. But after hearing how well he has played for Torquay over the past couple of years I'm quite excited at the prospect of him becoming a Rovers player.

Hi Vimto

Zeb was predominantly on the wing but when Robinson was in he was played upfront last season but I personally think he is better as the Striker. He works his socks off and chases everything when he's on the wing and his finishing and his awareness of players around him is top notch! I find when he is on the wing he looks a little out of position and doesn t play at his full potential.

He is goanna be a great signing for you just gutted he's left us!

Buckle prefers to play him out wide because he's so good at covering a full-back but for me he is superb as a striker, a handfull for anyone at this level. He does have a temper problem but I've never bought into the theory that he's a loose cannon. He's committed, has a great work ethic and won't be bullied. He's not given us any problems on the field and the headlines regarding off the field transgressions fail to do real justice to the real truth. He'll be a firm favourite with your more knowledgeable fans.................rules out Gashead1979 :)

can realy see how signing some bum who runs around all pissed up smashing glasses in peoples faces and starting fights in nightclubs for 100 grand, off of some pub team in deavon somewhere is going to benifit a club the size of rovers. to be honest torquay are a non league outfit who should be thrown out the league for turning up to a playoff final with 6000 fans. my nan would look good playing for torquay. no thanks zebs !

Closer to 8000 actually, but don't let the facts get in the way of a good cry ;-)

Just think, a non-league outfit from Herts who took less than 4000 to Old Trafford took your place in League 1

There is a lot of questions here in africa regarding zebs, he has been a good player and we like him, why would he write a transfer letter stating that its a family reason, well we are asking has he moved his shark to somewhere else or does he not like the weather anymore in Torquay????? I will be a little confused as he is my fav player and if he leaves i will have to choose another one. i am a new user i wouldn't want to a appear flaky

Congratulations, you have managed to score a point on the internet!

Now, off you go, back to your darkened room where you adjust the curtains to make sure there isn't a single sliver of light coming through, masturbating furiously to internet porn and taking a genuine interest in "girls in your area".

It was a perfectly reasonable assessment, we have others including promising youngsters and Joker4, so we dont need Zebroski as badly as Torquay need cash to get players in. How that is inciting banter I do not know, but hey you have it in for me so i'm not suprised.

If I did have it in for you as you suggest, you'd have been banned ages ago. You've ignored all requests to keep your "banter" here but still continue to post your drivel on our main board. You've now had your final warning, it's totally up to you whether you heed it or not, frankly you've become extremely churlish and boring. You can whine like a child all you like about being picked on, the simple truth is you're too ill-disciplined to follow simple rules.

The ball is now firmly in your court.

Enlighten me where there was any incitement on the post you picked on.

You're skint, we have other strikers. Both facts
