who cares?
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

i know i replied but its like me posting a new topic saying that Racing Santander are our nearest foreign club, mindnumbingly banal.

David Cornell (goalkeeper)??
Not really. Links to a Prem club who are not that far away could be beneficial.andygullagain wrote:i know i replied but its like me posting a new topic saying that Racing Santander are our nearest foreign club, mindnumbingly banal.

I don't think its a banal thread. Links with Prem clubs could help us a lot. we should be tapping them for all the help we can get after all they have taken enough from us lower league clubs. Bout time they put something back. I bet Swansea are likely to be more generous than some of the giants. after all they have risen up from the lower leagues. twice. they know their roots. Or should do

We need a ferry from Bideford to the Gower!
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

I'm sure Crewe, Kidderminster or any other club within 100 or so miles of Swansea could say they are near and get players on loan from them. There are many closer clubs to Swansea than us!! I'm sure Swansea would say' lets help out our local club - Torquay' even though they are miles away and in another country. Unbelievable pointless drivel.

I WAS going to make a big thing about this, waffle on for ages about how I like to attend Church on a Sunday, would you dare tell me 'who cares'? But then I realised that that was, sort of, the wrong way to go about this.andygullagain wrote:who cares?
Andy,
We like you on here, we do, honest. You posted some right tripe in the wake of the playoff loss, but soon recovered from your pit of depression and came out as a really good poster, with many valid and well reasoned posts.
By posting the above, you have really let yourself down. You're a much better member than you have shown in this thread.
If you have nothing positive to say, and no well reasoned objections to a thread, then please, don't debase yourself by posting crap such as that above.
Matt.

Yeah sorry Matt. Looking back on it now it was a bit ignorant of me. Someone actually had a real go a me once for posting a new topic which they thought was banal so i should have known better really. I'm a moody **** and at the time i read the thread i was acting like one of the types of people that i hate - saddo's who've nothing better to do than post crap on the internet. I was probably hammered as well as i am quite a heavy drinker. Hey, someone gave Brucie the number for the samaritans earlier on on a different thread, has anybody got the number for the derbyshire branch of the AA?! That aside mate i WAS being a knob and i apologise to Chertseygull for being an arse. That is sincere.ferrarilover wrote: I WAS going to make a big thing about this, waffle on for ages about how I like to attend Church on a Sunday, would you dare tell me 'who cares'?
