I would like to say a special thank you to Gloster Gull who despite his ill health did an extended version of the walk - 16 miles, he really is an inspiration to us all, he was determined to do the whole 16 miles & despite it being a bit of a struggle towards the end he completed it & said what a fantastic day he had had. Thank you Jon & Stuart for helping GG finish the last bit!!
GG thoroughly enjoyed his cream tea at the end!!
Today in excess of £2,700 was raised plus there is more to come, plus £533 already donated to the Just Giving web page so we have already exceeded Daves target of £3,000, thank you to everyone who as already given so generously. The Just Giving web page will be staying open so if you have not donated yet & would like to please visit http://www.justgiving.com/walkforcarol" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to make your donation!

just a quick update on money raised guys. If we get all our pledges in and some who said contact us after the walk we should have raised some £400 toward an outstanding total which looks as if it could top £4,000.
A very well done to all who took part. I was surprised by how many came along and it was a pleasure to do it. Anyone up for anonther one some time and I will def consider it. only a little shorter next time as my legs feel as if they were cut off by a blunt saw made of bricks.
