What is it with Crawley?

Talk about anything footie or non footie here.

I think it's nice that the supporters such as yourself, of clubs given such an advantage, remain so humble. It'll make things easier when the money dries up and you're on the way back down (or worse). You can be sure we'll go easy on you. We might have been in existence for the same amount of time, but i'm confident we'll still be in existence long after you're no more than a bad memory. A dirty stain on a couple of pages of the story of the Football League...

Shane, whoever this Person is,has already proved there as thick as Sh@t,probaly has never heard of Maidstone united, the first club to bank rolled out of the non-league,and went bust, then of course there Rushden and Diamonds, yep they have gone bust aswell,oh and a pattern is emerging now,Boston united bankrolled out of the non-league with Fatty Evans and didn't they go bust as well..hmmm,give it time.

Wonder if he know's why Bristol Rovers fans are known as Gasheads, and why they are posting on our boards right now.

A little unkind I.M.O. You have to remember that the "Gatwick Rovers" fans are all bagage handlers & only able to read luggage labels! :aww: :)

Some corkers on this thread to be fair, you think you brought better players than us? LOL. We've simply picked up a selection of the best strikers in League 1 and League 2 for huge fees. I can't even think of one player you've signed.

Put simply our team is better than the one that spunked all over you last year in the FA Cup, you know the one where me missed two penalties and still comfortably beat you. It's okay, not many teams could really compete with us last year we were something special. :)

Enjoy being middle table fodder next year under Martin Ling (again LOL, you don't know how much you guys sound like Cambridge fans last pre - season,) looking enviously across as Crawley Town storm to a second succesive promotion.

Not really Torquay related this, seems to have turned into Crawley vs the gas. Sure other places for this. Tbf though pal we've seen some of the rubbish you've signed Scott Davies & John Akinde to mention just 2.

For the record I don't think either Crawley or the gas will win the league, in fact I would say there's a good chance neither will finish in the top 3.

Perhaps he'll work out the Rovers conundrum around about the same time he learns to wipe his arse. Loving the jealousy line. What a tool.

To add a bit of flesh to the bones of the answer to the OP's question, as well as Raynor feigning injury in that play-off semi at Deepdale, he had turned up against us in a play-off semi in his Swansea playing days when we lost. Also, he flicked us V's whilst sub for Orient in a match where we needed a point for automatic promotion. We lost that day as well. So the history with him is long and was added to in our two non-League seasons, when he popped up with the convicted fraudster on his arm instructing his players to dive, feign injury, elbow et al, whilst berating officials in tandem with the eye-liner wearing fat jock conman. And the FA Cup exit was no fun either.

I think Evans has the measure of Buckle in the psychological stakes but, and I guess this is a big thing for a Gull to say at this time, I hope Rovers dick them. Gatwick Town won't be long in this guise before irregularities are uncovered and the plug pulled and Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man U, Milton Keynes et al get their plastic fans back.

No need to apologise. You never know, it might help unite Gulls and Gasheads if it stays here ;-)

I think you're right though, this thread has run its course on our Main Board.

Brings it all back, I went to those games. I think Raynor scored against us for Swansea but I don't think he dived or feigned an assault in either game of that two legged final, but I may be wrong.

Preston away I will never forget, we were well ahead on both goals and play, and going to the final (on the last game on that plastic pitch) and then that cheating pig Raynor turned the tie with his theatrical head holding (I think he admitted that he had cheated a couple of years later?). Preston is a long way to go to see your team cheated like this, I will never forgive Raynor for that.

At the Orient game (we would have gone up if we had drawn I think, but we lost 2-0 and had to settle for the play-offs, where we lost in the final), Raynor behaved disgustingly, winding up the Gulls fans before the game. Raynor is appalling, he has the a smirk on his face when behaving like the school bully, I think an opposing manager will lamp him one day (or perhaps this has already happened? Aldershot?). As for that fat son of a bitch Evans, it has all been said.

All I can hope for is that the money runs out this season, and we can have the pleasure of seeing cretins like the Crawley fan who has posted here crawl back under their stones. To be honest I would support anybody, even the Scum from up the road, against this lot.

Loving the sarcasm of Micky Adams in the interview he gave to the BBC after their game v Crawley. It would appear that Adams doesn't think too much of Mr Evans !!!
