I was going to go to this game myself as I don't live far from Weston but don't think will bother if you're playing a youth team.
I'm really surprised Ling is only playing 5 first team friendlies, that seems 2 or 3 short.

We've got Buckle's reign to thank for that. Its not like he was trying to screw the club over or anything.
To be honest, I don't remember us ever playing more friendlies than that (apart from the year we played in the Errea Tournament) so I don't see it doing us any harm.
i think ill be giving this one a miss now as we'l be putting out an u-20 side, completly understandable imo tho dont want some of our senior squad gettings knocks at this point and w-s-m are a competitve bunch
Good luck to the youngsters but I won't be taking the boys along tomorrow.
I'll save my money and brownie points for a league match now. Shame really but they want to see the new team (and old), so it'll have to wait.
Bring on Aug 6th.
Also I am giving this one a miss. I was planning to go today but as it's an U20's game I don't see much point, no offence to the youngsters. Good luck to them though!
i guess the assumption we can make is Ling has seen what he needs to from the 1st team/squad, and following two games against higher league opposition, feels another "competitive" match so soon is not necessary. it will also give him the chance to run the rule over the young'uns, as he has probably only seen them on the training ground so far. as with the other PSFs, i can't make it down, but i will be interested to hear how they get on. Good luck lads.
