Gashead1979 - I'm sorry but you’re in no position to have a say about Saah, Olejnik, Morris and Atieno. Have you seen them play? I'm guessing no (I guess no because of your "reviews" on them.) The only people who can judge these players are TUFC fans because there all playing for Torquay even though they haven't played a lot yet. As for Rene Howe that’s a bit different as he has played for you in recent times. However he has performed well in the PSF's and that's the only time we have seen him play, so that’s why all TUFC fans are confident that he will perform. Obviously when the season gets underway, Howe could turn into the guy you think he will but I don’t think he will. We can talk about Howe properly in January to see how(e) he has done. Then we can judge him as a player. As you said he has been a journeyman which is correct. He's been at Rochdale, Morecombe, Lincoln, Gillingham, R&D and Rovers all on loan. That is never easy for any player to be at that many clubs (6) on loan in the space of 3 years. Now he is at a club with a 2 year contract I think that his performance will be to a good standard. But as I said we can judge him properly half way through the season.

back on topic 4 a moment and hereford will NOT be in the bottom 2 this season ... do agree tht argyle could struggle early on tho and we will finish in the middle somewhere for this season, and old bristol rovers squeez the play-offs

You may know different having watched PSF's, for what they are worth, but most teams will be looking at Torquays comings and going and think you will have a poorer team.

Howe is a journeyman nobody wanted, wont score any more that 6-7 if he stays fit
Saah followed Ling around after failing a few trials with L2 clubs
Your keeper came from Scottish footy, nuff said, we've had a few at Rovers who were world beaters up there but then.....
Morris - Another guy who spent half his career on loan, wasn't impressed with him at Scunthorpe or carlisle.
Atieno - Blimey another young journeyman, should have taken up Basketball in the states like his brother.

Zebroski was a guy who could never settle anywhere, often getting into trouble with either the law or other players.
Branston was thought to be nothing more than a thuggish player, with his best years behind him.
Stanley was a player who had fallen out with his manager.
Bevan was 'another guy who spent half his career on loan'.

Just goes to show you that what happened previously isn't necessarily a guarantee of what will happen in the future.

Of course im open to be proved wrong, but dont think I will, and in any case we have bigger fish to fry.

I think Gashead1979 must realise he has been treated more than fairly by our site admin,after my little trip onto Rover's alternative forum,i went on there main forum.

I did not swear,i was not abusive nor in anyway rude to anyone,i did NOT in anyway offend the good name of B.R.F.C,just pure harmless banter and my account was instanly put into moderation,now all my post's in there main forum have to be vetted by a moderator.

I think it just goes to show how tolerent us gulls fan's are really.

unfortunately, that's not "all" you said. you seem to like having a little dig wherever possible, and that's what provokes reactions from people. i'm sure no one has a problem with your actual prediction, it's your opinion, you're entitled to it and you may very well be correct. we'll find out in May. i personally think you'll be wrong on both predictions, but that's just MY opinion.

once again you seem to miss the point. i didn't react to your opinion, you're entitled to it, as is anyone else on here. you do however, seem to have a problem when people react to you, and constantly try to defend yourself "i did nothing wrong". i was just trying to point out why people often react to your comments as it seems to happen so often. personally, i couldn't give a damn.

Is it not a fact that you have been asked to not post on the main board by the Admin team, and to just stick to the banter board?

The thread originally started out on our main board before it descended into mindless tit for tat banter. Hence the reason it was moved. Your posts were deleted along with others from Torquay fans, so you are not in any way being hard done by before you state you are. Nobody is blaming you for starting it, but simply asking you to stick to what you have been asked to do.

If you can't abide by a simple request by the admin team then we will have no further choice but to ban you from the site. Given the treatment of our fans on the Bristol Rovers fan site (and again this has nothing to you with you but helps to provide an example), I think that we have been more than accommodating.

Should you have any issues with the above please PM me, or any other member of the admin team, and we will take the matter there.

You have been on our main board and given your opinion,which you are as stated entitled to have ,howveer when questioned it's you that react's,and you then try to defend your opinion with an assumption.

To give some example's..if you had said ,i have been and watched some of your p.s.f's and based on what i have seen,i think you will finish 20th,fine nothing wrong in that.

All anyone is asking you to do is respect our main board,after all these are TUFC fan's who have seen our new play giving there honest opinion's,all your doing is coming in behind taking the piss out of nayone who post's something positive about Tufc chances for next season,most of our fan's think the new player are atleast equal some betetr to the player's have left,some of our board members share the same opinion,trust me,and your manager watched us play Exeter and he think's that way aswell.

Ok firstly i'll stick to the banter board. It was only my prediction the same as everyone else was giving so didnt think I wouldnt be questioned on it.

If Ling can replace the players you had last season without paying a penny then i'd be very very suprised, and looking at each player he's got in I wouldnt personally want them here. You have to worry when youngish players have had a whole host of clubs without ever having done anything, but thats just my opinion and football is full of them.

Nobody knows what the season will bring, but at least we will get up close and personal with each other very quickly and see who has the initial bragging rights.

A lot of other fans forums have TUFC to go down, so I was being kinder than most with my initial prediction, shame most of you are so defensive.
