Gulls Player Offer

I see that both new subscribers and renewals qualify for a free ticket which seems a good incentive.

This offer runs from 20/07 to 01/09. I presume that refers to the joining/renewal date as opposed to the free ticket date, however the communication is not that clear and it is not apparent to me how you claim your free ticket either.

Good idea poorly communicated. Nuthin’ new there then?

I only joined it last week. Seems unfair that I miss out.

Well that drew me in! Can't wait for my free ticket (well, it'll just have to be Argyle at home won't it?!)

again, the cryptic headlines do not attract people to this offer, why not just call the article "free tickets" or similar?

I pay DD (annually) too but didn't notice anything about a free ticket, although I have a season-ticket anyway but it was the principle of the matter - could have given the freebie to my wife.

I am puzzled. I pay annually in advance and £35.99 left my bank account. I pay by Direct Debit. It appears that I get a £4 discount because I pay by this method but this rules me out of the free ticket offer.
This seems a little unfair as DD benefits Premium TV who administer the scheme. Just thought others would like this info if I am correct.

The mystery continues on this one. I've been on a yearly subscription for a good few seasons and normally it just renews itself automatically but it hasn't this season as my card details have expired and I haven't got around to organising it yet. Earlier today I received a call from a woman based in London who works for the firm behind the player site to ask if I would be interested in paying £29.99 for the year instead of the normal price which I believe is around £40. I said I would be interested in the offer to renew and get the free match ticket but she was unaware of this offer!!! I said I would consider it and decide what I want to do. From that it sounds like the free ticket offer has been arranged purely by the club but the whole thing seems poorly organised and I think the club need to clarify the price and deals in place for Gulls Player asap. It would be very unfair if people are charged and aren't made aware of the free ticket offer but I'm not entirely sure how to go about renewing and how I can get a free match ticket!

Perhaps another one for Andrew C to investigate??

Question for Andrew C. When making Free Ticket offer did TUAFC realise Gulls Player subscribers who pay annually in advance by DD and pay £35.99 would not qualify for the offer. I suspect not. Am I correct Andrew?

Does the left hand know what the right hand is doing.....

Can I have a free ticket seeing as though my subscription has been running on for a couple of years.

Loyal customer?
