Micky Adams on fatty Evans and Gatwick Town

Post by gullintwoplaces »

Caustic interview with Micky Adams of Port Vale after the game with Gatwick Town:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14433620.stm

Very funny assessment of fatty Evans and the high regard that Micky Adams holds him in. Evans was up his usual "passionate" (as described on the Gatwick Town forum) shenanigans yesterday, getting up close and personal with the opposition manager. I hope Martin Ling has security on hand for the visit of Gatwick Town to Plainmoor later this month. Fatty must pack quite a punch, and I'm not sure ML looks robust enough? The Gatwick team were apparently up to their expected tricks, very physical, hard and, I guess, "passionate".

That interview is absolutely classic. I know Micky Adams personally and he used to come and watch a few of my sunday teams games and how he managed to be that witty is amazing :)

Lovely description of Pat Evans hahaha !!!!

ML is from West Ham so I'm sure he's up for a "punch up"

As for the interview, brilliant from Adams :)

I am gutted that I am away for the Crawley game! I hopefully will be attending the away match though!
