He has recently, was sub mainly last season, scored 2 against Millwall off the bench and has started pretty much since. Questions over his fitness as well as his consistency.

Pretty much what I thought having seen him at Edgar Street last season, on his day brilliant but doesn't do it regularly enough for that level yet.

Following on from Royal's perfectly decent post.
Oastler was, once again, caught miles out of position, far too far infield, for their first goal last night. The left winger had the freedom of the park to get in a decent cross.
As good a cross as it was, there is no way that a L2 striker should be getting in front of hopeless Brian Saah as easily as the striker did last night. Brian needs to be stronger (or just fecking better) if he is to bring anything to the team.

Best you watch the highlights again. It was Ellis not Saah. Dont let facts colour your posts though

Well, that's even worse for Saah then, since he was on the right side of the central defensive pairing and that's precisely where the ball went in.

Don't let keeping quiet **** your argument up the Arsenal or anything.

Would of liked to see us bring in another striker with Howe Injured and Bodin away on international duty as I still feel we are a bit light up front. hope McPhee proves me wrong.

Depends a) how his fitness is, b) if he's good enough. Hope he is, probably worth a shot first.

IF he's significantly better than what you have already, that's why you sign players.

hopefully leadbitter will prove that we dont want to jump the gun and go signing players that we dont need thats why you dont sign players

leadbitter is barelly youth and is unfit and really not played yet so i doubt we will get any benifit from him till next year imho
