Worth a tenner ?

Quite suprised he's as long as 6/1 to tell you the truth. Is it worth a tenner? or is it a case of
"just to make it interesting we'll have a shilling on the side"

I'm working on it.
He disrespected the TQY support and the position he was very fortunate to have. Deserves everything thats comming to him.
But at the end of the day I have to say I'm glad he went when he did so in that repect he's done us a massive favour.

I heard that an Aldershot fan said that, aside from Hereford, Bristol Useless were the worst side The Shots have played this year.royalgull wrote:if Pitman isn't odds on I'd plough into that. Hereford are MINCE.
They MUST be shit if they're worse than Rovers. :~D

I may have predicted Hereford to finish in the top 6 this year ... :slap:
If it wasn't for pitman i'd say Buckles a good bet for next chop

I'm only going to say this quietly, but I don't think Bucks is doing too badly at Rovers, considering all the changes he's made. W3 D3 L3 after 9 isn't terrible; Lingy has done better with less, admittedly, but 7-1 for the chop seems a bit harsh, specially as they'd have to pay him off. :rules:
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.

They've been so inconsistant tho, time will tell i guess but Buckle will need to improve that record

Thing is Chip, it's all a question of perspective. We know that to be a decent enough record, there are some teams in L2 who might not get 12 points ALL YEAR. However, Useless Rovers fans are expecting to win the league without conceding so much as a shot on target (as if the gap between relegation fodder in L1 and champions of L2 is THAT wide!) so their perspective is that they have won precisely 6 games fewer than they were all expecting. Their board are clearly similarly ambitious, so it might well be a case of unrealistic expectations and the Big Time Charlie attitude costing Bucks his job.chippygull wrote:I'm only going to say this quietly, but I don't think Bucks is doing too badly at Rovers, considering all the changes he's made. I think he'l make it to the end of this season, but there's a big question mark for them going up - and defo not automaticly imo - and if they don't go up he's gone. But i reckon he'l get a season

There'd be a fair amount of this if he did go:
Schadenfreude i/ˈʃɑËdÉ™nfrɔɪd/ (German: [ˈʃaËdÉ™nËŒfÊÉ”ÊdÉ™]) : pleasure derived from the misfortunes of others.

This post surely wouldn't be encouraging betting to our younger torquay fans would it?
