More away fans than Excretia...

Post by dazgull »

Nice to see we beat the Greeks at something on saturday:

Bradford v Torquay - 600 mile round trip (204 away fans)
Bury v Exeter - 500 mile round trip (160 away fans)

They get twice as many at home as us too.

Wont be long before their board get in a "Tis" and say sorry Mr Cravat but thanks old chum but we need to change. Will they try for Bucks if he upsets anymore Gasheads...

Just goes to show how shite i am at guessing! I was sat near the top of the away stand on saturday and no way would i have thought there were 204 gulls in there. Maybe 130 at a push. Well done us!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I think that turnout is very highly commendable. Thats one hell of a journey and like us going to Carlisle where Im pretty sure our following was around that figure but maybe 300 mark with our fan base. So well done you yellows.

Just as a matter of interest, does anyone remember how many we took to Carlisle in our Atkins Miracle Great Escape Season to ruin their promotion party ?

Remember that day well. Had a broken wrist at the time (broke it the day we hammered Stockport and so missed the game as I was at hospital :( )

Got into the changing rooms and got the programme signed and photos with the players, class day.

Wimp! We stand with a couple who fly over from America, and not NYC either.
