One of the dullest halves of football I've seen in ages, only livened up at the end by a full length save from Bobby, and from the resulting corner Ellis pulling off one of the best, most last ditch of goal line clearances I've ever seen.
Apart from that nothing more than half chances for both sides. Southend have certainly had more, but until the last 2mins of the half they were nothing more than panicky moments rather than bonafide chances.
Ellis has been outstanding at the back, won everything in the air and seems to be bringing the best out of Saah who has also been solid. Midfield getting out battles though, and Howe and Bodin aren't causing any danger up front.
We look like a side who have come with a plan to contain, and so far it's working.
