Could the Yellow Army possibly make a chant up for this guy???

Anyway it seems we are interested in him - or perhaps it's just Wes (Saunders) trying to stoke up a bit of interest in his client!!!

Always good to hear that we are looking at players though - especially on the non league scene. He must have something about him to have interested Sunderland. It seems the deal may hinge on us getting a couple of players out though? I wonder who ... ?

All the yellow army could link up and parade around away ends up and down the country in one massive conga formation and sing do do do, c'mon guerin-lakonga! Yeah ok, i'll get me coat.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

That was so obvious yet it actually made me smile and will probably be the best anyone comes up with.

I love the pic of him slapping a defender and having a chuckle about it. Clearly a Gull in the making.

Don't assume he's amazing though just cos he got a trial at Sunderland, so did Tony Bedeau! And Buckle offered him a contract so he's probably crap.

"McLoughlin said: “There are three lower league clubs looking at Aris, particularly Torquay who would put him in their 16, but they were looking to let two players go first."

I cant see that bit being right. Weve only just got enough as it is...Unless one of them is Taiwo..

Maybe he just means on loan, get the likes of Halpin some pitch time if we're going to be inundated with forwards.

True. Spears out on loan so maybe letting Yeoman or Halpin go for a while aswell would free up to bring him in.

At the moment he is with Jarrow Roofing ... perhaps we are hoping he could help out with the new stand whilst he's here ;-)

That's how i see it. Or even Macklin or LRT out on loan, someone not regularly in the 16.

I only hope if this was to happen he's not too good as parents do not want to be getting 'Guerin-Lokonga 20' on the back of their kids shirts. ££'s

Sounds promising, we're still a little light up front so he'd be worth a look at.

Interestingly on the link within the first article it said that Bristol Rovers offered him a contract in the summer for next to nothing which he promptly declined. Wouldn't it be great if he scored against them to add more insult to injury for Buckle  .

Been doing some research into this. I spoke to a guy i know at Sunderland and he did very well when he was on trial there. Scored a goal and put in a few miles. Didnt get a contract to the suprise of a few people.

After the sunderland trial its obvious to me, his agent is now trying to get him a move as he's got the talent. He had a trial game with Lincon City but that never happend. Even though only playing in the Northern division one, he seems to be highly respected after his time at wolves.

Was in the same Wolves team with Hemmings who we had on loan last season, Hemmings was either with or behined Lokonga in the side.

Ive known for some time that LRT has wanted first team football and Ling was keen to try get him, Macklin, Halpin, Yeoman and Spear loans if possible. Who knows what truth is in this regarding us being involved, but surley they would think of a bigger club to say hes linked with if it was a media stunt.

'Sign him up and it's Konga time'

Third paragraph. What with Ray Spear already having gone out to Bideford (also mentioned in the article), could this be the second of the two 'out' players to facilitate the 'in' of Mr Konga?
