those that couldn 't make it today. Well, perhaps I should qualify that by saying those that couldn't make it for genuine reasons!
For those that quite simply couldn't be arsed ...well, you missed our first win over Argyle in nearly 40 years - clearly the sort of thing that doesn't happen very often and let's be realistic, unlikely to happen too often again in the future.
If you couldn't be bothered to turn up, well let's just say you didn't miss much in the first half... but boy what a second half!! Those first 5 minutes in the second half, the quality of those two strikes from young Eunan .... WOW! That is what LIVE football is all about - the sort of "buzz" you will NEVER ever get from watching ManUre or Chelski on the box ... it just ain't the same, sorry!
Proud to have been there today to witness such a (rare) event and delighted for all those fans for whom it clearly meant so much! It's been a long time in coming but today it really felt like it was worth the wait! Proud also to say that we have an exciting young team that is showing signs of real potential and may just be good enough to match the achievements of last season - who knows, perhaps even go a stage further!
For those "stay away" fans you REALLY don't know what you're missing!
Have to feel sorry for ....

It's annoying, committed to play football this year so my Saturday's are pretty much tied up. Double annoying the fact that the team i'm playing for are toilet anyway.
Excellent result, more importantly it's been a superb improvement and run of form. Ling has decided on a new formation and the results and performances tell you everything you need to know. Ellis has seemingly improved the defense, i hope he can now go on and play this way for the rest of the season. ellis has done brilliantly before in patches but never for more than about 10 games. I hope this is the start of something excellent.
But not just him, the introduction of Lathrope seems to have brought calm and also allowed our flair players more license to go forward and do their stuff. also Stevens is a different player, full of confidence tearing teams up and getting goals. Howe is leading the line superbly and bringing the likes of Stevens, O Kane and Bodin into play.
With Morris back our bench looks stronger as well, showed last week when he comes in does a great job and we win away. Big test on Friday at Port Vale especially as we're without O Kane. Saah is a loss as well now but in Robbo we have a more than competent replacement.
Basically in short well done Martin Ling. Changed the system, changed the personell (without panic buying or panic loaning a stack of strikers *cough cough*) and it's paid dividends massively. Happy days are here again, like i've felt all season if we can be midtable (and we are definitely capable of that) then it's a really good year for us and will set a platform for next season.

It was well worth every second of the trip down from Southampton to watch it. I brought along my daughters boyfriend and he loved every minute and is already talking of doing it again. I thought the fans backed the team superbly today and were very positive with it.
For those that are missing due to apathy, I suggest you come and take a look, this team play some lovely football and are well worth a watch.
