AC NTFC vulture list.

Post by ferrarilover »

What with Aidy Boothroyd getting the job at the Cobblers, we can only reasonably presume that there will be a bit of a clear out in January. Is there anyone we'd have, or are they really all as bad as their form and results would suggest?

I know about Robinson, I think the recent thread on this suggested that he was a decent player, but didn't really have any place in our team. What about Bayo, as cover for if and when Rene is out?

A big "FAT" no as far as Bayo is concerned, to be honest do not know much about there squad in general, however after 17 games or so the league table does not tell many lie's, so apart from Jakey Robinson who i would have back here today...my answer is no.

I'm with Dave, I really liked Jakey as a player for us but Bayo can sit there outside TGI's eating all their pizzas ;-)

if we got bayo back, we'd be carrying more weight in the team...in more ways than your thinking now!

I believe Bayo would be much better than Atieno so on that basis i would have him back, only cos we are so thin on the ground in the striking department. Jakey boy i'd have back now and straight in the team.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I'd quite like to see Jakey back in yellow, my only worry would be who we replace. It would be very harsh on Danny if he were lose his place while on form, especially as he has obviously tried hard to get a first team place. I'm not even sure Robinson could compete with Danny for consistancy at the moment.

I really couldn't see why we would want Akinfenwa, he would cost far too much and wouldn't sit on the bench and I'd much rather have Rene on the pitch.

I don't think many would replace him at this precise time but sure as eggs are eggs that form will dip sooner rather than later. Bringing in someone like Jake would only add to competition for places and give Danny a reason to maintain his current form. Win-win for me.

I do not think there is room in the budget to have Jakey in the squad unless someone goes out, the one thing no one has brought up yet, Bodin he is here only untill January , i am not sure if the club has the money to sign him on, and if we can not keep him on loan , then there is a huge hole to fill.

If Bodin goes back to Swindon, Jakey in his place.

This is very true forever, could be a much easier choice than expected. It's a shame it's not Danny that we have on loan isn't it?!

Don't think there is much chance of us getting Bayo, apparently Northampton have set up a rugby club now....

Bayo will surely be roped into this as some kind of prop...
