Totton v Useless.
Where the flipping heck (this is a family site) are Bristol Useless getting these goals from?

I'd bet good money that right-back couldn't score another goal like that if it popped up to him like that 100 times.
Wonder how thr rovers fans will like this? Have they got to the stage of hatred that Blackburn fans have against Steve Kean, where even if they win they assault the manager? Although, knowing them, this is probably the first in a long run of games where they will go on to win the F.A Cup...

FIFTEEN QUID!?!?
They better be vastly inflated prices based on the opposition.

Buckle still has one of those faces you'd love to smack.
My old mate Sean New pulled a bit of a cheap shot on Muzzy though, he's been doing that kind of thing for years and always seems to get away with it.

I thoguht the commentary gave that Sean New a bit of a hard time, i thought he was trying to protect himself more than anything else, but it was good too see Muzzy riled like that and him just looking away!

That's what I thought: he leaned back and put his leg up to prevent himself getting body-slammed. That said, I can see why Muzzy got riled.stevegull wrote:I thoguht the commentary gave that Sean New a bit of a hard time, i thought he was trying to protect himself more than anything else, but it was good too see Muzzy riled like that and him just looking away!

If you watch it, he tripped him as he went by and then played the "I'm innocent" card, like I said he's been doing that for years. He's actually hard as nails and if he'd done nothing you can guarantee he'd have stuck the nut on Muzzy, there's no way he's a pacifist like he tried to make out

I have to admit that the goals have all been absolute belters I would be proud to see us score It doesn't matter a jot what has gone on in the past between our clubs I do have to hold up my hands and say they were well taken and terrific shots.
Not sure what I thought I was seeing with Muzzy. It did look to me as if he had deliberatly held his leg up to interfere wih Muzzy. Whatever I think of Muzzy, That was not on. Dave, I know you know him but how can anyone excuse that, There is no way anyone on the bench should be interfering with on field players. whatever the reason. It's very poor in my view. doesn't matter a jot whether he has got away with it for years or not.
Will settle down with the wife now to enjoy the second half. with a nice bit of Chicken.
P.S
I remember a Carl Pettifer. that name is very familier. Now where did he play?

Hows that for understatement. Commo says "it hasn't been easy following Bristol Rovers these last few years". wow is that the understatment of the season.

Also, someone said about Pettefer, apparently he used to play for Portsmouth. I also remembered the name but wasn't sure where from!

I know where I heard of him. He did play for Portsmouth, but I think he really made his name at Sarfend. he also played at Exeter if my memory serves me right. is he the same guy who played a bit at Bourmouth.

Can't take it away from Rovers this time. A thoroughly proffesional performance capped by 6 good goals 3 of which were real belters and one a contender for goal of the round, bettered only by Danny's goal yesterday. ( well I would say that wouldn't I). Or possibly Rene Howes as the pass was sublime to set him up.
Am wondering about Adrian Childs Comments after the match. was he taking the mickey out of Rovers a bit?
Interesting to see how I felt about Rovers as I followed them a long time too. I felt like a total neutral. No real feeling for them at all. Yup now I am a total Gull with no other affiliation. That should please Chris Cox.
