salisbury or grimsby for blades

Post by bixieupnorth »

always a pain when you watch the draw knowing that game could've been ours, the agony of last year was terrible knowing we'd thrown away a trip to manchester!

should be a straight forward passage to round 4 for the blades? imagine we'd have done the same?

and a manchester derby again, juicy!! 6-1 again? i'll have a quid on it!!
still keeping the faith

It was 13th September 2001, two days after the 9/11 attacks. I remember it well.

We held our own until they brought Sherringham off the bench, and Woozley hit the bar that would have put us one up!

The steward told me at half time that we were the noisiest away fans he had heard in over a season working there! Great night out!

I remember going to that game with a Spurs supporting mate and his son. On the way out the Spurs fans were clapping us and telling us how good our support was and how well we'd played. If only that shot had gone in................

If Salisbury get past Grimsby I bet Loyd will enjoy that one. Ironic isn't it. we loan him out so he misses the Blades clash and end up with a chance to play em anyway.
