Honestly Martin!?

Post by AustrianAndyGull »

Just read the article on the OS about midfield rotation. I had to laugh at what Martin said about Eunan, Morris and Lathrope regarding who will be dropped from the midfield tonight. He said,"Morris played well at Chesterfield and then had to come out, and if he comes out again, it's not because he's doing anything wrong". Absolute masterful diplomacy Lingy  , why didn't you just say,"Morris is dropped" and have done with it?! Bless him, his hearts in the right place. Maybe he should go on Give Us A Clue or something! (i'm gonna look a right dick if Morris starts now!). :scarf:

Austrian

Now I like it, irrespective of whether IM starts or not.

To me it is good man management. Such a contrast to the previous incumbent. No names no pack drill.

God bless you Dinger....

Hey, don't misunderstand my sentiments regarding the post Yellow. It wasn't a dig at Martin. I also prefer his honesty and the way he treats his staff with dignity. I just read the line and thought if Ian had also read it he would have been disappointed but i suppose Martin will have told him prior that he wouldn't be starting (if indeed this is the case) as like you say he is an honest bloke. I just thought that in this day and age of managers giving nothing away and the media trying to get blood out of a stone the statement is funny as it inadvertantly suggests that Morris won't be given the starting birth. Again, if Morris starts then i am a massive tail!!!
