It's good to hear today that the number of arrests at games in England and Wales have fallen to a record low (but have increased in Scotland!). I presume this news item refers to spectators rather than players! So we can expect to have no more complaints from the continentals about the behaviour of English fans?

I'm with the goalie. It is all very well to say that the law protects the victims of violence, but we all know that it does not. The idiot who invaded the pitch got a good kicking, and thoroughly deserved it.

Certainly true of Wayne Rooney. In all seriousness, what else would he be doing if he wasn't a footballer? Exactly.
He's from Thieverpool, we know what he'd be doing-then he claim he was a victim because of his background/upbringing/any reason and try to claim compensation! :(

This goalkeeper got his red card overturned, by the way.

Cheers happytorq. At least there is some good common sense there.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...
