My moment of the year

Post by tufcbrett »

Once again i would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and All a good new years aswell. I do hope to see everyone at the games over the new year period. As 2011 is coming to an end and was thinking what was my highlight. Many of you will agree with this one, watching it all back just gets sweeter.

I think your all guess what it was but, watch it again and have a big smile. Catch wait for the home game :scarf:

He is such a liar. That deal was done and dusted 7 weeks before the Play-off final. £70k in our pockets and the weasel out the door, good business by the club.........if it hadn't cost us promotion. Watching that just reminds me what a snakey barsteward he is. Good riddance.

How refreshing to listen to Martin Ling afterwards though ;-)

I wasn't at Rovers so my most memorable moments were obviously being at the Don Valley when we nicked a play off spot, being at Shrewsbury to eke out a 0-0 in the play off semi and being at Old Trafford for the final although we lost. I thank the Lord at Christmas time for allowing me to go to these games!! However, the moment that will stay with me most is the madness that was Guy Branston powering in a header to equalise in the 3-3 draw at Macc. In the grand scheme of things it wasn't a worldie but i could actually picture what was going to happen in my own mind seconds before it happened. I knew as soon as the cross came over what was going to happen and it did! I remember Branno whipping his shirt off and swirling it round in the air and running to the Gulls fans. Immense.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
