Bristol Rovers v Plymouth Argyle

Post by Gullscorer »

Bristol Rovers v Plymouth Argyle kicks off at midday Boxing Day. Never thought I'd support Argyle (the really big-potential city club) as much as I do for their game against Rovers (the too-big-for-their-boots tinpot city club). Particularly since they will need all three points before we thrash them on 2 January!

I'm sure Bix would agree with me when i say Bristol Rovers at home to the Gargs at 4/5 is an absolute must. Its money for nothing as Mark Knopfler would say.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Football never ceases to amaze me, who but the most ardent of Argyle fans would have seen this result coming? Luc kily the game kicked off at 12 so i wasn't in time to put Rovers in my accumulator but jeez, Buckle is seriously struggling big time at the moment and defeat at home to Plymouth after being 2-0 up is an absolute disgrace. I'm sure i speak on behalf of most Rovers fans when i say GO NOW BUCKS , YOU'RE AN EMBARRASSMENT!!!!!!! ( AND A DICK).

Wow, just what has Buckle done to Rovers this season. I mean to lose to Plymouth is bad enough, but at 2-0 up!!. Hopefully Buckle will get whats coming to him sooner rather than later. Sorry Rovers fans, nothing against you lot at all, just nice to see Buckle fall flat on his a*se.

What were the excuses be this time? The pitch? Plymouth's dirty tactics? Too much Turkey at christmas?

In an interview he did mention the pitch is not good at the blackthorn end, still HIS team were 2-0 up on it so no excuse. Personally i hope he stays a bit longer, keeps rovers away from us, let them sweat it out...... :)
