A thread to cheer up the Rovers fans

Post by ferrarilover »

Yes yes, I know, ANOTHER Rovers thread, but this is the banter board after all.

I thought it might be nice for us down here to do a big ol' list of reasons for Rovers fans to be cheerful. I'll kick us off, you follow on.

1. Your fancy pants new ground will DEFINITELY be the best in the Conference...

Matt.

You'll have a managerial vacancy next week.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Your new ground is only in the 2nd worst part of Bristol, after Eastville.

Paul Buckle is actually a brilliant manager, probably the best you could ever get, and will eventually win you promotion and become a Bristol Rovers legend.

You'll have players who are fullbacks, central defenders, wingers, midfielders, etc playing in the actual positions that they are comfortable in.

If they ever get their super-duper new stadium built, they'll have the flashest stadium in the Conference.

You could say your the biggest side in the south west, for non league :keepie:

You could have many south west derby matches including FGR, Newport, Possibly Bath if they get their ass into gear.

You will be Fave to win something, The Fa Trophy. Get a chance to go to wembley. :-D

You get to visit places clubs you never knew exsisted, (nice fooball lesson) Braintree, Hayes, Alfreton ect.

A season of most winning, and doing well. Always a bonus

If Argyle gets relegated too, they'll be plenty of chances for a rematch.
