Wish him well, but Mr B on the move again. Have good memories of running down to join in the goal celebrations at Wycombe......happy days!

Should work well off Niel Harris. Big man, small man always sounds good on paper. Look forward to Benyons return to Plainmoor...

Good luck to him! I liked Benners as a player; I actually hoped that Ling had an interest in him.

Good luck to Benyon and I too look forward to his visit to Plainmoor this season, I hope that he'll get a good reception (which I'm sure he will :-D )

He has had a rough 12 months after all the cloak and dagger drama of the January 11 transfer window.
I hope he gets a game up there and re establishes himself, looks like a half decent contract so good chance he will
Wish him well

ELLIOT BENYON'S deadline-beating move to Swindon Town could earn Torquay United more than £150,000, writes David Thomas.

The initial fee is believed to be around £125,000, but there are several 'add-on' clauses which United hope will boost the eventual return on their leading scorer.

Looks like we have missed out on most of this now (possibly like number of goals scored, appearances made, etc.) But what about a possible sell-on clause in there? Even if it is a small amount.

I'd be fairly confident that there would be a sell-on clause, it seems to be what we do in any transfer. It may only be 10%, but any money is good money going into a transfer window.

Wouldn't have actually minded seeing him back in a yellow shirt before the arrival of Howe. Wouldn't fit in the current squad with how we line up/play at the mo though sadly.

That's alright, he's shot his bolt now, he'll go back to being just another L2 striker, no more, no less.
