Just back.....
Just back.....
.....from Scotland, watched the Old Firm game and the Edinburgh derby yesterday, I've had a lovely Buckle free Xmas and New Year. Anyway, how have they been getting on without my support? Are we in a play off position yet?
P3 W0 D0 L3.
He's done well, as you can see.
EDIT: Are you a Celtic or Rangers fan? Was it a good game?

All joking aside, I am struggling to believe he is still here, I should imagine its only the fact that we cannot afford another contract pay off he is still in work. It would have been great to play Villa on Saturday with him gone and a bit of a feelgood factor in the crowd.
Celtic btw, its my little escape from years of mediocrity, and I get up to a couple of the Old firm games every season, and the odd Champions League game (when we were in it!) Wasn't a great game, but its always great to beat them, and especially after being so far behind them just a few weeks ago. I was in the Upper North stand this time, and the stadium was literally rocking after we scored, which can be a bit scary, but good fun all the same!

Been to Parkhead / Celtic Park once for a Scotland v Austria WC Qualifier in the 90's. Obviously i was sat with the Austrians and obviously we lost!
Kevin Gallacher and someone else scored in a 2-0 win, may have been Iain Durrant but not sure. The stadium was rocking with Scots and it was a sight to behold. I also remember going into some dodgy pub called the OLD OAK BAR or something similar and there were bars on the windows, Jesus. Thankfully i was with a scot but being English/Austrian and having an English accent i became a mute for 20 minutes just nodding and drinking!!
Then we walked from the ground into Glasgow itself and i can honestly say that as someone who suffers from a ropey stomach , i have never shat myself as much as i did that walk in my whole life and my stomach was fine! There were drunks/druggies peering out of random doorways, gangs on corners, burnt out cars and allsorts of Scottish merriment going on. It was seriously scary. Anyway , my fave Scottish team are Ross County as i was on holiday near Dornoch once and decided to take in a game and buy some home shorts. Flimsy basis for support i know but what the hell, they're close to getting in the SPL now anyway. One final push and they might just do it. As regards Buckle, I HAVE NO IDEA WHATSOEVER WHY HE IS STILL IN EMPLOYMENT. It surely has to be compensation as i cannot think of any other reason any sane chairman would be delaying the inevitable. The bloke has well and truly imploded! ![LOL ](./images/smilies/lol.gif)

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
If you think The Oak Bar is rough its just as well you didn't go to The Springfield Vaults! I always find the area fine when Celtic are playing as there are so many people e around, but as you say, the first time you go there it is a real eye opener! Hmmmm, maybe we could drop Buckle up there wrapped in a Union flag.
