Is Elliot the new Lineker...

Post by Wisconsin_gull »

Winter is with us here in Wisconsin...the gun season for white tail deer just started at sunrise and close on a million hunters are out in the woods as I type, trying to shoot a deer, not get shot themselves, drink beer and bs a lot....

Anyhow, as a brit with no interest in all this - i took the good advice from fellow .commmers and invested in GullPlayer to get me through the dark cold winter months (-4c outside this morning... )

Fantastic to see the action at last instead of Radio Devon or BBC live text - my first obeservation is that Benners scores goals like Lineker used to?

Thoughts...

Gull to win 3-2 this afternoon Ellis,Kee,O Kane

He's certainly a "fox in the box" although his ears don't stick out as much :)

Hope your Player works a treat, WG. Have just Google-mapped you, as geography has never been a strong point of mine. I only know the UK through football grounds and shopping centres....

Hi Wisconsin. I will be dragging the snowmobile out today and firing it up ready for the crazy snow fall. Elliott certanly seems to be the lower league Lineker

A bit left of New York and a bit down from Canada. Not sure what the scale is though on my map...

No, Elliot is not the new Lineker.

Paul Dobson, Willie Brown ? Micky Cave maybe ?

My choice would be Willie Brown. After all, he did fall over a lot. And he scored goals.
