I know this is Rovers AGAIN, but it's incidental.

Disregarding all that has gone before (but maintaining the facts of the matter), what do we think of Paul Ince as next Rovers manager, good thing, bad thing, what?

Matt.

Good thing, I think. Like it or not, I think big names at this level can make players perform better. Look at Di Canio at Swindon, not a particuarly good manager, but as he is a top player the others are more inspired to perform better.

As it is, I think Ince is a good boss, and i am surprised he is in League Two. They'll be fine this season, but i wonder if they have the money to back him or if he has to stick with the players that Buckle brought in and the fans seem to have a deepset hatred for...
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

With this appointment it's surely time they change the music that the players run out to:

Looks like he's also on the brink of turning us down. I agree with happytorq, it is a circus.

I put a £10 bet on Keith Curle earlier at 8/1. Dreading that appointment but it wouldn't surprise me with the gas at all.

I think that it would be a pretty good appointment, but seriously do Rovers have a tree that grows money? How can they afford it!?

Risky risky move IMO. He's got a bad track record but did OK at this level funny enough. I would have thought that they would have gone for more of a "vetran firefighter campaigner" (Ian Atkins? lol) Find it quite ironic that the possability of Rovers and/or Argyle could find themselves in the Conference next year.

Hope whoever it is it works out for them otherwise Buckle can say it wasn't just down to him.
