Yes it's banned, and it'll remain banned, just a bloody shame the club won't ban the **** himself.

Matt.

It's not only matt and his girly car that doesn't like Johnny. A lot of us don't. He is a bell end of the highest order.

I saw him having a right go at the stewards because they wouldn't let someone else into the bar. The reason they wouldn't let anyone else in was that the place was packed to the ceiling. But would he accept that as a decent reason. No! would e eck as like. He caused such a rumpus that they had to call in the old bill and he was nearly arrested. he was most abusive and caustic. He always seems to be spoiling for a fight. There are more than a few who would cheer the rafters off if he was banned.

he should be banned for life. He doesn't seem to understand the words decent. sober. manners. etc. If he was in power in this country he would make Hitler and Stalin look like John Major playing with his peas.
Nuff said. :@ >:( :whip:

oh bloody hell, seems old CABBAGE PATCH has upset a few people,
must admit he is a prize dickhead, whose manners & abuse especially in front of our female friends,
is pretty disgusting, i had to move away from him, at the last match i attended,
because he was an embarrasment!

Dont get ME started on the subject of J. Bartlett. He makes my blood boil. :@ >:( I cannot stand him, and I do have a very valid reason, which I won't go into on here.

Obnoxious P***. :Z

I'm beginning to wonder if this Bartlett chap is the fellow, who in our League One season, got completely bladdered and fell down the steps at Milton Keynes. He was a total wotsit, abusive and with an annoying noise making device.

Whoever it was had false teeth. I saw them fall out.

To his great credit, John Bartlett with his bell, was on the back step with the "bouncy castle youth" (Yellow Army) in the Barn Park End at Argyle.

Next time bbc, when you're on the back naughty step with Trojan, I'll point out Matt and Diamond Girl and you can hear from them what has become known in folklore as the "Bartlett Incident". ;-)

Why is he so obnoxious with everyone? Somebody offered him out a few games ago after he had said see you outside. First time I've seen him shut up!

Hopefully he'll move when the new stands built

Doubt it Dave. As far as I know, he has always stood on the Popside. We could not get that lucky.

it seems the opinion is split on dear old "cabbage patch bartlett"
some people dislike him,
some people hate him with a vengence,
i only raise the matter, because of the rumour that he was to be honoured by the club
for supporting the gulls for over 50 years, it seems mike bateson would present a small trophy to him,
in the "gulls nest" prior to the last home game of the season!
only a rumour at this time, but from a very reliable source.
will anyone on here be attending? cant remember any other supporter being honoured by the club!

Cant see this happening. He may have been a Gulls supporter for 50 years, but in that time he has been ejected from the ground (At least once) and banned by the club (At least twice). Not aure you need to be aknowledged for your "length" of service, but for the "quality" of you support.
Thats just my opinion, of course. AND I dislike the guy with a passion, so maybe I am a little biased. Sorry :-/

What a fantastic idea (honouring John Bartlett's loyalty). :)

Like Wembley has a statue of Bobby Moore and Old Trafford has a statue of Best, Law and Charlton, so Plainmoor can honour John by situating a statue of the Popside favourite outside of the new Bristow's Bench.

John in stone, eh ? I guess there are some who would like to see John in concrete, most probably as part of the Bristow's Bench foundation. :~D
