Morris
Cant really comment to much, did not go to Macc, or today, Morris hitting form does not surprise me in anyway came to us with a previous good championship footballing pedigree, i am beginning to wonder just how bad or how long his knee injury was and he been suffering from it.
With that knee problen seemingly fixed , we might see Morris improve and i think come in to his own, if Bodin came back now , not sure he would get straight back into the team.

I see him developing into our replacement for eunan. Would imagine when eunan goes he will slot into centre mid and you never know could be a fight out between Nathan Craig and Lloyd macklin for the then vacant wing position.

I don't know about the Macclesfield game, but I went to the Morecambe game today and I have to say his form is definitely better than it has been recently. Today he was tracking back and making covering tackles - on more than one occasion today he did a slide tackle around the player and came out with ball.
He also made some good attempts to cut in from the right hand side; however the end product is still missing on a number of occasions. We were both agreed he was one of 3 players we would have voted Man of the Match today.

There can be almost no doubt that his knee injury was preventing us seeing his best work. Now that is fixed, he is beginning to find his form. I guess it's only natural that some guys can find their top gear immediately upon return from a layoff, where as others take a little longer. As F'rev has mentioned above, we have no real way f knowing just how long that knee problem has been afflicting him. If its been a slow drop in performance for, say, two years, it's absolutely no surprise that it's taking him weeks, if not months, to realise his full potential.
Give the boy games and I think we'll see him come very, very good. Those who were at the PSF against the filth will know how good he was that day, imagine that, but against real opponents in competitive matches every week.
Matt.

Agree with denspad, his form is steadily improving. I was at Macc and he was slow to get into the game but showed improved mobility and commitment as the game wore on ultimately resulting in him getting on the score sheet from being in the right place at the right time, or 'reading' the game which is the way i like to view that old cliche. If he continues to improve fitness wise and can get a bit sharper then he will be a great asset to us. My only negative is that he can look a bit lightweight sometimes .
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

I thought that he looked like a new and exciting signing on Saturday. He was up for it and put in a good 90 minute shift.
The transformation in both him and Danny Stevens as our wide men was a nice surprise (amongst many) to the eyes of this jaundiced correspondent.
