Somebody may need to remind me of this, but should we win tomorrow I'll make the midweek trip to Rotherham in a couple of weeks. Anything less than a win and it's no deal.

I've got us down for a score draw in the predictor league but won't be surprised with a 0-3 defeat as we never get much and they are pretty damn good at times. It's funny how money can make all the difference isn't it? Ours is being put into the ground and infrastructure and their (loads more than us) is being splashed on the squad. Lucky them!! Still, must be upbeat and hope we can get a point maybe??? :-/ listening on the old radio whilst fishing down on the Cherwell as I can't afford to get down to Gatwick.
Hope the travelling yellow army give it large to them!!! Don't stop singing yer hearts out for the lads.

See you at the Don Valley then Jeff! We're going to win this game, we're going to win it comfortably by keeping hold of the ball and hitting them on the break to run out 2-0 winners. The defence is the most important thing tomorrow, keep it tight under pressure, don't panic and they'll get frustrated. If the strikers are back in form then we'll nick this. As for taking the 4/1 forget it, we'll be much bigger in places so shop around. I got on the 3/1 away at Cheltenham and if i can get 5/1 / 11/2 tomorrow then i'm on. Never been to Crawley, never want to go to Crawley and never will go to Crawley but respect to the travelling Gulls again tomorrow. I've not been to a game since our win at Macc so i'm missing it but i'm waiting for the Rotherham and Burton games to come around. COYY!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

A few of us who saw the Gillingham game thought Torquay's performance was rather poor. But Steve Evans on a BBC interview said he saw Torquay play Gillingham and he thought they dominated the Gills for an hour before conceding two late goals, and he thinks tomorrow's game will be a tough one for Crawley. Is he just getting the Gillingham players psyched up for the game or is he genuinely afraid of the Gulls?

Crawley have just made two new signings. If either of them play tomorrow and don't immediately blend in, Torquay's chances may be helped a little. I'd be very happy with a draw though.

Well we have McDonalds debuting for us. IF we can't score then at least we can bombard them with big Macs. But I bag the fries. Damned if Fatty Evans is going to get all the prizes.

Wonder if will see Howe and Jarvis in harness together tomorrow?
Tough ask but not beyond us to get a result
Gulls 2-1 Jarvis to open his account with a brace!

Best we can hope for is a draw I'm afraid but I am concerned about a defence who hasn't played together before with one member who has little if no league experience so I fear a defeat and no goals scored again.

right then, just getting ready to go out, 2pm meet up today so you wont hear a peep from me on the forum after this post!!

feeling oddly confident today, we've beaten better and bigger teams several times already this season when we were expected to lose heavily, i'm hoping that mr ling will have a plan, hopefully the two new boys will add some much missed edge to our game again, our midfield is a good un on its day, more than a match for most in this league, so i've bet on a 0-2 win, and a couple scorecasts with the new boys both to notch!!

thats my heart bit over, head says prob lose 3-1!!

either way i'll be well merry by final whistle and hopefully at least a draw will put an extra smile on my face!

enjoy your days everyone!

Now that a certain manager has left Bristol Rovers, this is the side I'd most love us to get one over. Nothing personal against the club you understand, more my deep loathing for Evans and Raynor :)

Despite them bringing in new players left, right and centre, Crawley haven't won a game since the beginning of February (although that was a 4-2 win over Cheltenham!), so they're on similarly patchy form at the moment. Although they do have a strong side, it looks to me like there there's no better time to be playing them.

Will be interesting to see how our potential debutantes (McDonald, Jarvis and Craig) get on today. Hopefully Jarvis will get some game time to show us what he can do - a player with obvious pedigree and a point to prove.

I reckon it'll be a 2-2 draw, and I think that would represent a good result. Would love to see us win it though!

We'll win today lad and lasses. Don't worry. Must be a northern thing with myself and Bix both feeling confident about this game when there is no basis to do so. There is something in the Yorkshire / Derbyshire air.................pollution!

The same pollution which makes you think a team can simultaneously keep hold of the ball AND play on the break? :~D

Steve 'Six Dinners' Evans: "We can't feel sorry for ourselves because we've lost a couple of players. The journey must continue. It's like when Cristiano Ronaldo left Manchester United."
