Kicked the ball away to prevent the early taking of a Crawley throw in.

Half Time, 0-0.
Crawley have had the better of the first half but we're by no means out of the game. Another piece of ML tactical brilliance at half time will do nicely please!
Luke.

Good, solid but uninspiring first half.
Very few chances - their lad Clarke looks a handful and was denied by a save from Bobbys legs inside the first minute, but otherwise apart from a couple of blocks in the box they've not threatened. We had a beautiful angled shot from O'Kane cleared off the line, and Morris was denied a goal by a last-ditch header right at half time. Bobbys handling has been impeccable, Macdonald looks quality and has settled in well. Usual refereeing performance though, Crawley getting everything.
Main talking point is the state of the pitch and Danny's injury. Never seen a pitch cut up so badly, huge chunks ripping up all over the place. Danny was chasing a ball on his own and slipped over on his ankle. Immediately indicated that he was injured and the stretcher was called - he went off in an inflatable split so it looked a bad one. Jarvis has looked alright, won a bit in the air and linked up well with Rene.
Tight game, really could go either way but we need to keep up this level of hard work as there is nothing in this.

Sergio Torres and Josh Simpson coming on for Crawley at half time, must be getting desperate for Crawley.
