Interesting one for Rovers and Torquay fans...

In short, Barnsley failed with a bid for Muzzy in January. Just thought it was an interesting one as he was hardly setting the world alight at Rovers and yet gets linked to a Championship club!

If Muzzy goes Championship, Eunan goes Champions League.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

To be fair to him he's done well at Rovers and most of their fans rate him highly. Having watched Vaz Te against Cardiff the other day I thought he was garbage so who's to say Muzzy can't replace him.

I would be doubtful of him remaining at Rovers for too long. A piece in the Evening post this week reveals what he is like as a sportsman.
Mcghee has asked all his players to put in that little extra shift to lift Rovers,
He has a new role in mind for Carayol. Instead of flying down the wings he wants him in a more midfield role. with a view to being more involved in a central attacking role.
Mark McGhee is one for being very demanding in pre season and players are expecting a hard time so to hear Carayol in print about this won't exactly be music to Rovers fans ears.
qoute
"I have definatly heard about them (his tough pre seasons) so i'm olanning to enjoy my summer break. I've already told the Boss not to be surprised if I come back faking injury because I am not a runner- I am always at the back.
Really. and we thought he was part of the attack. No wonder we thought he wasn't trying sometimes.

I like Muzzy and in patches he's been unplayable this season, but he's also not shown up in other games. For all his skills and tricks he still frustrates me as has his crossing and final ball really lets him down.

The last few games Mcghee has been playing him in a more central role, behind a lone striker so it'll be interesting to see where he plays sat. Hopefully he's more effective than the last time we met haha.

I agree with Glostergulls assessment, he does seem unprofessional and lacking in effort at times. If someone could sort that out I'm sure he'll go on to have a decent career, but if not I can't see him being anymore than an inconsistent lower league player. At this moment and time I certainly don't think he's ready for the championship.

Did he actually say that?

Crikey, he's not very bright, is he?

That's GOT to be a joke, or a put up, there is no way on Earth that anyone, not a single person in the whole world could be that stupid, surely. The human race is doomed if this isn't a gag.

Thats a qoute taken directly from the E Post. I agree it's not the brightest thing to say to the manager and I bet Mr Mcgoo will note it down when it comes to the reckoning. (what's your name Boy. Don't tell him Caryayol)
And even less intelligent to have it come up in print. Now who else do we know who has done that recently?
