That is football management at it’s best.

It is the difference between Dinger and Buckle.

It is the reason that we might get promoted.

It is the reason that I dare to dream.

Gawd bless you Lingy.....

P.S. We are Brazil from the Westcountry.

He didn’t mean what he said? Is the OS article a fabrication? Is this yet more inside information?

Or are you mistakenly referring to my lighthearted postscript about the quality of our play?

I was trying to make a point about my perception of Dinger’s good management.

Lighten up my old Antipodean forker. This isn’t the darkside..... 8-o

Well why didn`t you just say so? Reading it again I couldn`t agree with you any more, might be an idea if I read everything twice before replying!

Aye, I like this Brazilian theory . . . we must be bald in the last 8 games.

Oops, I mean BOLD. ;-)

I thought that perhaps the line “That is football management at it’s best” might have provided a small clue.

When you say I couldn’t agree with you any more do you mean you can no longer agree with me or that you agree with me 100%?

It is a tricky blighter the English language. Especially for ex-colonials.

Now just concentrate on your job, and get the pitch well aerated for tomorrow, rather than getting aerated with me... ;-)

I posted this elsewhere but it fits here for obvious reasons. I just set up a Tumblr blog called 'Lingisms' at http://www.lingisms.tumblr.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, in celebration of Mr Lings unique phrases, because, y'know, he does come out with some crackers. Hopefully there'll be a few more before the FA snap him up.

I hope the pitch was to your satisfaction yesterday Yellow and yes I was stating that I agree with you! 45 years of using the English language and I`m still crap at it in written form, I`d much rather talk than type and listen than read!

Yes, as Clint Beastly said “A man's got to know his limitations”.

Regrettably I was not there to see the fruits of your labours Aus, nor indeed of the boys in yellow. However based on the result and the transformation that has occurred to the Plainmoor pitch in recent years I can only say ‘fair dinkum cobber’.

Whatever you are doing, keep on doing it... :)
