BBC - Jarvis

Post by premierleaguegull »

I guess this is a small matter (but I'm sure it can be blown up).

On the BBC League Two page it shows (I assume) Ryan Jarvis and the report from yesterday's game.

He is wearing (what I presume to be) a Walsall Leyton Orient shirt! Now, however small this point may be, any promotion our club can get is precious. We don't need to promote Walsall Leyton Orient! It wouldn't happen to any club in the Premier League, that is for certain. Can you imagine the BBC showing Cahill in a Bolton shirt? If they didn't have a photo of Jarvis in a Torquay shirt, then why not show Howe (if they have a photo, they should do) or Ling?

Small things like these add up to so much in the long term. A bit disappointing from the BBC.

Actually I think theyve got that picture from his Orient days! They seem to do it with other teams aswell.

Not that it effects his main point but premierleaguegull is indeed wrong in his presumption.
You can see the 'PartyPoker' shirt sponsorship indicating Orient. The Orient crest is also on the football
directly under the word MITRE. The Puma's offering a further clue to the O's as Walsall's kit is
manufactured by Admiral.

I would like Mr Atieno to study the photo of Mr Jarvis heading a football
Please note, he is watching the ball to ensure he makes contact with his forehead and not the top of his head which is what I have seen Atieno do on the gullplayer - thought that it was only me who did that....

So at last Ryan is off the mark, he could be worth 5-6 goals on the run in (lets hope) we will need everyone we can get to build the GD
At the kerb halt - look right - look left -look right again - if all clear quick march!

Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.
