The First Division (The Premier-Shit is the spawn of Satan). Saying that my favourite teams are the two who are playing Thieverpool (or Victimpool) and the Barcodes, as I cant stand either club with thier pathetic fans who both think they have a God given right to a) win stuff and cause mayhem wherever they go but blame ANYONE else , and b) think they are a giant club (backed up by a sychophatic media) despite having won nothing of note in a lifetime!

Division two (Championship to you young 'uns). NO ONE! (But 'Rovers till [it's 'TIL' ffs]we're crap) have given me plenty of laughs this season. Oh and anyone playing The dirty filth that is L**ds)

Division three. Sheffield Wednesday.

Division four. Silly question.

Non league. Difficult this as I hate the teams that aren't real league clubs like Dagenham AND Redbridge, Cheltenham, Morecambe Fookin Crawley etc prefering the traditional clubs like Workington, Barrow, Southport, Newport County etc. So it is probably Darlington at the moment.

Scottish is The Accies (dont ask me why) and Ayr because I've been to Somerset Park

And Barcelona, for ages, and Beckham signing for Real simply enforced it.

Prem (Div 1 in my childhood) - Man Utd (as I was a member of Phil Tozer's Devon Reds in my youth in the 70's)
Championship (Div 2) - No one really, maybe Saints as my mate's wife is a long time fan.
League 1 (Div 3) - Sheffield Wednesday (been there many a time when the missus went to Meadowhall shopping whilst staying in Bawtry with her family).
League 2 (Div 4) - Need you ask?
Conference - Cambridge United - cause my old mate Rich Stephen is a big fan.
Others? Southern League - Brackley Town cause another old workmate Ray owns half of them despite them playing at another Sid James Park as well!!
Foreign? - Borrusia Dortmund eV 09 - lived just down the road for over 3 years and my old army mate Alex is a season ticket holder at the Westfahlenstadion.
Scotland - Dunfirmline Athletic - been there a few times years ago when home on leave in Edinburgh - short drive over the bridge and the missus goes shopping once again!!
Inverness Callie Thistle - spent 1982 up there watching highland league before they merged clubs and before their stadium was built so watch for their results.

Kingsteignton Athletic - well, that was home after all.

PREMIERSHIP - none. Although i do like any team that beats Man Utd.
CHAMPIONSHIP - none.
LEAGUE 1 - Hartlepool. Had many a great trips staying with some Poolies, very handy when we were playing darlo too.
LEAGUE 2 - Torquay
CONF - Forest Green. Followed them ever since we played them in the cup, lovely set up and fans there. Usually struggling at the bottom but doing better this year.
SCOT - Partick. Just to be different from Celtic/Rangers. Pefer Celtic to Rangers as when i was a t primary school our kit was theirs!

Not bothered about any other league or team bar Buckland Athletic. Local and a really good set up there.

France - Brest. Because I'm a child
Italy - Chievo
USA - Portland Timbers (I'm a member of the 107ist official supporter's club - even though I picked them very arbitrarily, click here for reasons </blatantplug>-)

International - USA, oh and England a bit.

Prem- Was a Blackburn fan as a kid after watching them hammer Norwich 7-1 in a top of the league clash, with Sheared scoring two

Championship- Blackpool, because Dave Bambers penalty miss is my first TUFC memory

League One- Rochdale, because being a Rochdale fan must have been terrible for 40 million years of not going up nor down

Conference- Forest Green Rovers- Great set up, used to go there with my old man when I was younger, saw them at Wembley, my first trip there

France- Marseille, lived not too far away from there in 04 and went to every home game in their run to UEFA cup final (for 20 euros per match!), by far the best atmosphere I've been involved in

Italy- Lazio, went to a Rome Derby when Gazza was playing for them, he was class!

USA- New England Revolution, I went to their stadium and bought a cap!

No sadly didn't get to a game, I did get to The Red Sox on July 4th though, which was pretty amazing!!

Yep - I live in Connecticut, about halfway between Boston and New York; works out well because I cover the football at both the Revolution and the Red Bulls.


To be fair, you didn't miss much, atmosphere-wise. The fans really try hard, but it looks kinda pathetic when you have 15,000 people in a stadium that holds 80,000. There's talk of building a ground right in Boston which would be awesome - but unlikely because it's so damn expensive.

One of my best mates lives in Newton, Boston, he's an Argyle fan, but goes to the Revolution quite frequently now he's out there. I'll be out that way again next year, if I co-incide it with a match, I'll try and remember to look you up!
