did you actually see a game there, or just go to the cavernous Gillette stadium?
No sadly didn't get to a game, I did get to The Red Sox on July 4th though, which was pretty amazing!!
Amazing part of the world that is, is that where you are based?
Yep - I live in Connecticut, about halfway between Boston and New York; works out well because I cover the football at both the Revolution and the Red Bulls.
To be fair, you didn't miss much, atmosphere-wise. The fans really try hard, but it looks kinda pathetic when you have 15,000 people in a stadium that holds 80,000. There's talk of building a ground right in Boston which would be awesome - but unlikely because it's so damn expensive.
Before I started supporting Torquay, I followed (and still do) Spurs.
I always keep an eye out on results of East Stirling for some reason. Maybe because I like an underdog and I remember they used to finish bottom of Div 3 of the Scottish League almost constantly so I like to see how they do from time to time.
