The smell of damp Whippet?
Women wearing flat caps?
Consumption?
Left wing politics?
The word 'the' being replaced with a glottal stop?
Poverty?
Matt.

Anyway, i think us northern gulls should have a pop at Devon folk then
Talk like fishermen
Don't have a passport
Love clotted cream and cider ( pronounced soyder ) and saying oooo aaahhhhh
Inbred farmers
Incessant, relentless war on second home owners ( with you there guys but you lot take it to the next level! ) and fear of outsiders
Oh and saying 'upcountry' - WHAT?!!! Do you also say Downcountry?
![LOL ](./images/smilies/lol.gif)
Anyway, please don't get me next time i bump into any of you otherwise i'll set me lurcher on you and give you a knuckle sandwich sunshine. :na:
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Terrible. People have been talking about Andy Carroll to come to the Euros. He has played 'quite well' for about 2 games this season. If you insist on taking a regulation 'target man' (and many people don't) at least take one who scores and would be hungry to impress, like Grant Holt. He has stepped up to every level he has been faced with.
Maybe one day, Carayol will find London...

depends what you want Hodgson to do. I think most can agree that expecting to win the Euros would be silly, so there's a case to be made that taking players who could use the experience to learn for future tournaments is the best idea. Holt is what, 30? He's not going to Brazil. So I can see why you'd want Carroll - who is still you - to be given the chance to make the spot his own.stevegull wrote:Terrible.
