sound system in the bench

Post by thevoice1986 »

We are all aware that the 'new' system put in the bench is not up to scratch. Announcements can not be heard and the output is truly shocking.
Unless people email/write/speak to people at the club, things won't get done any time soon, I can assure you.
Please start complaining through the channels and it will have to be taken seriously and things will happen quicker!
Thanks guys and girls

I emailed Andrew Candy this afternoon and had a reply within 20 minutes.
Work is in hand to try and improve the amplification before next tuesday when we play Leicester City.

Andy Candy has better things to do than answer 500 separate e-mails on the same subject. If there's something he needs to communicate to us, he'll post it on here/the OS.

Please DON'T e-mail in about this, the club know about the problem and are fixing it.

Matt.

Thanks Matt.
The Club is more than aware of this as an issue and is actively looking to improve the volume and clarity of the PA system. Like a lot of things it is not straight forward but it is definately not being ignored.I cannot promise that it will be fixed by Tuesday but certainly by the start ofthe season. Please be patient for a little longer.
Many thanks,
Andrew

Looney Toon Foghorn Leghorn (John Bartlett) won't be there midweek games. He intimated to me that he's going to be selective as to what Saturday fixtures he attends as well.

He's getting on in years is our John and age is catching up with him. Two other regulars who will be missed from their Popside perch will be Dave and Nancy Harris, who have moved directly opposite to take their seats in Bristow's Bench.

Matt and Diamond Girl don't start celebrating just yet, because our John has tutored me well.

As an add on to Looney Toon characters, who do you see as being their equivalent on here ? I'll start you off.

Yosemite Sam : Brucie

Pepe Le Pew : Scott Behaut

Meep ! Meep !

(Southampton Gull doesn't feature, as "Spike" the dog is NOT a Looney Toon creation, it's a Hanna Barbera one)
