Looking forward to it, although I have to say I look forward to FM a teeny bit more.
I imagine the quality of our side on the whole will be reduced this season on Fifa, simply as we don't have as many established players that people outside of Devon will have heard of. Olejnik and O'Kane had made a name for themselves down here and I don't think they'll be rating the likes of Nathan Craig and Billy Bodin quite as highly.
My hope mainly for this Fifa is that they sort out attacking runs off the ball. It was utterly non-existant in the last game and to be honest it meant that I tired of the game much quicker. I tended to only play it when a few friends would come over and we'd to 'be-a-pro' and there'd be a multitude of runs off the ball from my pals!
Also, the Torq strikers couldn't hit a barn door, particularly Atieno. (although I guess that was fairly accurate)
You talk of not being able to hit a barn door, Macklin was one of the worst on FIFA12 but he did have his pace. Love doing FM aswell though. Will be interesting to see which one I enjoy more when they get released
I've honestly never been able to get into any kind of football game, either management (FM) or 'arcade' (FIFA/PES). I had a bit of a dalliance with Matchday II on my Amstrad CPC 464, but that was just the heady excesses of youth. I was 7
From the couple of games I played they seem to have improved the tackling a bit, you get freekicks for stuff like shirt pulling and shiz which is good. Hopefully it'll be sorted online when you knock it past the keeper, get taken out and no penalty. Daft.

Matchday 2 was awesome, if you forgive the American terminology which i'm sure you're accustomed to happy. I remember playing it all the time as a kid and waiting 3 days for your long punt upfield to bounce, great stuff!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Hoping this comes a day early (tomorrow!). Really good, Fifa is the only game on xbox that keeps me occupied for the year. Only stopped playing 12 about a fortnight ago!
