Glostergull for his reminiscent post in 'The big match' thread of Plainmoor and it's atmosphere back in the day. Great read

I like Gulliball's work on the attendances. Always interesting to see.

Glostergull for his post about 9 January 1965 - a great description of our cosy little ground and the little cottage at the end of the lane which served as the reception and amongst other things sold match day tickets (although for this game against Spurs the tickets went on sail from the Torquay United Supporters Club building inside of the ground at a reserve match). That building stood alongside the Popular side at what is now the family stand end. The decrepit tin shed behind the goal at the Ellacombe End was a favourite place to stand for youngsters but at that game I couldn't get anywhere near it so was in the second row of standing by the corner flag at the junction of the Popular Side and the Ellacombe End. Brilliant post by Gloster and you could almost feel the atmosphere when reading it!

Cheers for the votes guys. Difficult again this month with many members posting some great stuff on a variety of topics and usually it is a choice between someone who posts rarely but when they do they create something of fantastic substance, someone who posts regularly and is generally entertaining to read or someone who does unheralded work behind the scenes like Gulliball for his stats or Scott for his prediction league thingys. I want to vote for myself but can't and i also want to vote for someone who is new just for the hell of it but i'm going to vote for Matt Ferrari bloke for his regular posts, often inciteful NOT insightful  and entertaining. I was gonna go for Scott B as the work he puts in to the prediction league must be arduous ( unless he does it all by computer the cheating arse! ;-) ) but regardless it is good fun and we all appreciate it Scotty lad.

After all that my vote goes to the Ferrari.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Glostergull.

Andrew invoked so many memories with that wonderful post and not for the first time.

Was going to vote for Austrian Andy for his always excellent posts and for voting for me in the summer, then I thought Ferrarilover runs him close. I'll doubtless vote for them both in the future, but this time, that excellent post by GlosterGull swings it for me, as it brought back nostalgic memories..

So Glostergull it is.

H guys, I don't normally like to stick my head above the parapet as it seems so pretentious.( wow I spelt a big word right again.) And I do acknowledge your votes. But I myself have to vote for AustrianAndy. Thanks for linking with me on Facebook mate. Your posts have been in the most thoughtful and informative. I don't always agree with them but they make me think. Maybe thats why I suffered a bit of Verbal Diarrhea tonite. I must write a thousand lines. i must keep off the curries. I must keep off the curries. I must keep off the curries.......

A.B.G, Anyone But Gloster!

Oh alright, Gloster it is then. Thanks to those who have voted for more, and to Andy for his excellent 'inciteful/insightful' joke which I will be stealing.

Well done Andrew, proof, I suppose that quantity and quality are not always mutually exclusive.

Matt.

Glostergull, for the most bizarre voicemail message i've ever had. Even more random than a voicemail from my nan and grandad where all i could hear was Countdown on the TV. :)

Gloster

Our very own Tolstoy. I never read it all. I didn’t need to.
