fixture list
fixture list
Just a suggestion but wouldn't it be good to have the seasons fixture list on the site some where? Maybe on the main screen, as you enter the site? Im not sure about anyone else but im forever trying to troll the main site/BBC for fixtures.

Good idea, however the fixtures have copyright against them and cost a ridiculous amount of money to have the "honour" of reproducing them.
You are allowed "snippets" on here, so part of the list is fine, but the whole list in one go is a huge no-no, and could lead to this site (as well as any other that breaches the copyright rule) being fined and/or banned.

An interesting Google search found this Scott;

Also, the fixture list for Torquay alone would cost £266 plus VAT (Around £315 then)

Do you think this could be worked or would the programme count as the Fanzine?Small, independently owned football fan sites have been badly hit by Football DataCo, who even charge non-profit making enterprises the standard fee for use of single club fixture data unless adopted by a club as a "Nominated Fanzine" in which case the charge is £1.00 plus VAT. This has meant that many fanzines have been threatened with removal of the fixtures by Football DataCo.
Luke.
