Perhaps would be a bit of fun and indeed informative for fellow connoiseurs of real ale to use this thread to pass on tips and recommendations. I've just picked up 4 bottles of TRIBUTE from my local store which previously i had been unable to get. Four bottles for £6, dink dank doo!

I believe TRIBUTE is a Cornish ale from St Austell and i've never had it before. I wasn't going to buy them though as i have reason to believe they sponsored Plymouth Argyle did they not?

I got them anyway, yum yum. I also brought back some DARTMOOR BREWERY - JAIL ALE from my recent trip to Devon and served ice cold it is absolutely beautiful stuff. You can almost taste the water that goes in. I've fallen out with DOOM BAR as it has become a bit bland. My current favourite is from a small brewery up here in the East Yorkshire Wolds near the coast near Filey and it's called WOLD TOP BREWERY. They do IPA, SCARBOROUGH FAIR and WOLD GOLD and they are really tasty and highly recommended.
Anyway, before i go i must refute any allegations that i am a member of CAMRA!! I'm not that old...........i'm 36!
