TW*T! Who told me to post this thread?!! I wanted to tell them that Oastler was a f*cking liability!!!!
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

All the players currently with the club are either brilliant, or have potential to match! If they appear to make the occasional error or don't look quick enough on the ball, it may be because they're not quite there as a united team yet. Whether it's down to team selection, tactics, formation, lack of understanding between players on the pitch, whatever, I've no doubt that they will all gel together brilliantly before long. This league is still wide open, and automatic promotion is still on the cards!

Joe Oastler has had a very consistant start to the season, being a top performer in most matches, very assured on the ball and tough in the tackle, he has all the attributes to be a fine full back. He just had a nightmare today, he set the tone for his own poor performance by a woeful first touch, head dropped and he never recovered. Bristol sensed a weakness in him today and doubled up on him, for whatever reason he lost his head for a spell. He had a bad day at the office, he is entitled to one, back him to return to normality next week.

Yeah, i was only jesting Ben, he has been my man of the season behind Rene thus far so he's entitled to a stinker now and again.

Oastler has been a liability all season. He was a liability against Aldershot when he gave away two of their goals and by the sound of it was just as bad yesterday.

Ive always seen Oastler as ok. I dont get to as many games as some, so wasnt fully evaluate, but yesterday was my third game this season and I would say in the first two he did nothing special, and yesterday was atrocious.

My mate asked me beforehand who our weak link is qnd I said nobody is paryicually weak. Boy did I feel silly. I don't think Oastler got one pass to a yellow shirt, was beaten time and time again and mafe some stupid, unnecessary fouls, which led to the red card. And when sent off, he walked off the pitch so slowly, it was pathetic.

Hopefully this is as one off, but I feel this is a real opportunity for Leadbitter. He is very quick too so potentially offers more going forward.

just watched the highlights, and that "foul" for the 2nd yellow was a joke. he barely (if he actually did) touched him.

i know you should be careful when on a yellow anyway but that was a shocking decision. :@

Maybe Super, but I have a feeling the yellow was for persistant fouling. If he'd got away with that one he'd have been gone in 5 minutes anyway.

Wouldn't have been the worst idea to take him off. Joes very first touch was to shank the ball straight out of play, and it went downhill from there.

I've actually got no complaints about the sending off. Haven't seen the highlights, but the first challenge was brutal and the second for me was a body check. When you are on a yellow, you shouldn't be making any challenges that give the ref a decision to make. And you've got to ask yourself how has the winger been able to get such a run at Joe that he has felt the need to block him off - probably because Joe was half asleep again.

Leadbitter surprised me when he came on in that he wasn't complete garbage. Pace and energy in abundance so will be a real asset going forward and will allow us to pack the central midfield area. Just needs a bit of work on decision making really

Giving Oastler some credit his slide challenges are usually spot on
