All done according to SSN

Great win. Goes to show you don't change a winning team. Puts us in a very tidy position going into the xmas period. A couple of derbys and games coming thick and fast, a 4 point gap to the auto places can be whittled away quite quickly

Great result today, right in the mix despite a rough few weeks, now back to back victories.

Bristol Rovers lost again. Their fans are beginning to think in terms of yet another new manager! They should've kept Paul Buckle..!! It'd be kind of ironic if they were to be relegated to the Conference in the same season that Buckle brings Luton Town back into the Football League...

Only 3 other saturdays before Christmas, and temperatures around freezing point... I don't think we will reach 2,300 home fans I am afraid. I'll say 2,062, with 73 Dags fans.

Feeling vaguely positive about a good result though, so I agree with 1-0/2-1 to the good guys. Jarvis won't score.[/quote]

Correct score, 7 out on the attendance, and rightly predicted that Jarvo wouldn't score. Okay, so the last one was a gimme, but still...

Good result against a well organised and hard working cockney team

Quite simply we did not give the ball away very much and that was the main difference. The whole team probably made less unforced errors that Mansell did alone against Southend.

We also made many less fouls in dangerous places on the pitch, I counted two in total.

Mansell will struggle to get back in the team judging by today.

....and didn't the Dagenham bench look like a bunch of used car salesmen!

You had two bites at the score and it's hardly as though you've called the score in Reading v Man Utd, so we'll allow half a point. Sadly, you lose that half a point for being rude about Jarvo. So, much like the UK at Eurovision, you get nil points. :na:

Jarvo was good today, much in common with everyone else, I'm glad he's taking his chance. Reasonable game from Bodin, which is a vast improvement upon a lot of his other work this season. Oastler and Nico also better than in recent games, although I understand that Joe's grossly unfair booking (has he been rightly booked yet this season?) sees him miss the A.C. Cobblers game.
Dagenham reasonable, but nothing special at all and got exactly what they deserved overall. All credit to their guy for his goal, but he could have another 1000 goes at that and not so much as hit the target with any of them.

Looking forward to Bradford now.

Matt.

Great game today! Everybody played well and it's great to see us creating chances again. Although we had spells where we couldn't keep the ball, it was great to see us attacking right from the outset. We could have scored a good 4 or 5, but that's just a habit of ours. Limited them to shots from outside the box and that's what cost us a goal, but it was brilliant to see us keep attacking and get the winner. Goal given by the announcer to Thompson (probably because he had no clue what donkey sliced it into his own net) All in all a great game! COYY
