Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Not feeling positive more hopefull, that said it's Exeter our whole club should be up for this our team should be self motivated.
Calls for Nicho to be rested are not awful, Lankyben. He like Oastler at best have been inconsistant, last season Nicho had the speed of a Sinclair C5 despite slimming down he now appears to be slower than a C5 all in all for a full back that equals disaster. Mansell has not hit the form of last term however he is the one player who has two key elements needed for a relegation scrap, experience and leadership he must remain in the team.

isn't that a slight contradiction? sayin drop nicho but keep mansell due to his experience? just say we dropped nicho against cheltenham you really think we have adequate cover in cruise to deal with someone like mcglashen? least if you drop mansell we wouldn't lose anything due to Craig or easton slotting in there and offering more creativity and also allowing us To play a extra winger and have someone who can beat the full back and also allowing Craig to offer more creativity from centre mid.

why not feel positive?
apparently we were "ok" at burton - as for the 2nd goal, a shot like that ends up in row Z 9 times out of ten!
its a devon derby against our most hated rivals and if the players cant get up for that theres something wrong.
win 4-0 lings a genius, lose 2-1 in the 95th min and its "ling out!"

Not feeling confident at all, I'm dreading it TBH! But I'm just hoping that this big Devon derby is the turning point that we switch on and beat City! We can't lose to the grecians!!

We'll p*ss this 3-1. The bet is on and make no mistake this game is in the bag. I'm so confident that money has been parted with and i hope that THIS confidence cancels out all the negatives i have posted today as i need 2 positives just to cancel out the negative. And right now i am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO positive. I am feeling it brothers and sisters, i'm feeling the lurve, i'm feeling the mood and right now the mood is goooooooooooooooood. I'm swimming in a sea of imaginary money, come tomorrow it will be REAL money ( well £46 ) to be precise my winnings will be. How many olympic size swimming pools could i fill with £46? I reckon i'd have to pick it up from the bookies in 1p's to stand any chance of having a swim mind. Still, i will swim in pennies, i will bask in the glory of a victory against our diseased rivals, not serious diseases i might add, i'm not that cruel or anything so at the very worst a mild candida infection but mek no mistek, the pride of Devon will lie well and truly in the yellow half of the county come 10pm tomorrow night until the rematch live in front of the nation where we end up getting dissected like a student opening up a lost frog and embarrassing ourselves in front of 6 people. Until then though the bragging rights are ours! COME ON THE GULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
( is this ok? i've tried so hard to be positive that i've ruptured some facial capillaries but i think i can live with it)

On the point of experience yes there is an obvious contradiction, however one of the many key elements of a full back is pace dont get me wrong I am a big fan of Nicho's but sorry he is just far to slow now. You name McGlashen that is the very reason why I would move Nicho on now, last season McGlashen ripped Nicho a new buthole in the play-offs and I think Nicho as said despite slimming down hasn't got any quicker, its the full back areas that have cost us a lot of goals.lankyben wrote:isn't that a slight contradiction? sayin drop nicho but keep mansell due to his experience? just say we dropped nicho against cheltenham you really think we have adequate cover in cruise to deal with someone like mcglashen? least if you drop mansell we wouldn't lose anything due to Craig or easton slotting in there and offering more creativity and also allowing us To play a extra winger and have someone who can beat the full back and also allowing Craig to offer more creativity from centre mid.
As for Mansell he can run box to box all day and all night long he by some distance more mobile than Easton and has leadership quailties like no other, experience and mobility down the centre is important, pace at full back more so over experience.

Fingers crossed for me TBH. Head says a 2-1 win heart says 0-1 loss in the 96th minute AGAIN!!!!!!! :B But Lets be upbeat as it's a local derby and things aren't as clear cut as they seem and Exeter may well cop a backlash so wouldn't it be really good to wallop em 4 - 0? It could happen so lets just visualise a rockin Plainmoor and those yellow shirts celebrating big style
COYYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You gotta have a dream!

I'm feeling pretty positive about tonight, I think the fact that it's exeter might make the players determined to get a win, especially as they know how much it means to us, you never know we could start our good spell here, like our good spell we had last season after drumming Wimbledon 4-0.
Saying that I'd be very happy with 1-0!!
