FA Cup History
The fact that Buckle has made cup history makes me sick. Can do it for luton yet f**ks it up for us against Crawley. Can't imagine his ego right now.
Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!

He's a non-league manager, if he were any good he wouldn't be so let it go tktufc91. It's for the best.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

The first non league side to beat a premier league team in the FA Cup since 1989 or something like that. Couldn't care less about Buckle, he's a poor manager, just has very good runs in the Cup.

It's hardly a record, a few non league sides have beaten top flight sides in the past. People seem to forget that football wasn't invented in 1993 and the Premiersh!t is just the old Football League Division One with a different name.dannyrvtufc4life wrote:The first non league side to beat a premier league team in the FA Cup since 1989 or something like that. I actually think that pre-Premiership, the feats of the lower league or non league clubs in beating top flight opposition was twice as hard than it is today. In those days, top flight teams wouldn't rotate their whole squad and drop loads of players and bring in ones with little experience or ones that clearly don't give a sh*t. In those days the top flight clubs would put out their strongest team and revered the FA Cup so much that they went out to win every game with the strongest team possible. That is why what Luton did will never be a patch on what Sutton United did to Coventry or what Wrexham did to Arsenal. Not in a million years.
