Congratulations Elliot, listened, learnt improved and became one of our if not our best player over the course of 3 years. Never felt you didn't give 100% for the cause and whilst i'm sorry to see you go I'm pleased you've gone to a decent club where you can play, continue your development into the very good striker you will become.
If the moves we're making come off I'll be dleighted with the replacements tell the truth. More options, more attacking threat than relying on one player all the time.
Had to get the best deal for the club and with Elliot out of contract in 6 months time, we had to do it.
Thanks Elliot, good luck and welcome to the new boys.

Is that the Twitter account set up by Barlow that's been pissing the players off recently?

i think we tended to be a bit limited when elliott played, especially in the 4-5-1. he just isnt physical enough and im not convinced that a decent percentage of his goals didnt come about mostly through luck. i dont think the money people are mentioning is really enough however, but then it could have been less in the summer so maybe the time was right.
good luck to him, hes still young and he'll have a decent career. he's done well for us and developed a lot since he first signed. hopefully we can actually use that money to invest in the squad, although i dont think we will.

Good post bobby, I'm assured we are able to invest, which makes it a god deal in my opinion. We can all see we needed a change in personnel as well as tactics, surely?
Ok, the tactics might not change, but then with different players they might actually work, and I bet my last pound that this is what Buckle is thinking.

This is good news for Elliott and for the Club so long as the fee is right. I think we had progressed as far as we could with just him and Billy Kee and this allows Billy to grow into the player we all think he can become.
Well done Elliott, the very best of luck to you and thank you for four years loyal service.
I don't know what Adolf is going to say now that his second favourite player after "Sillsy" has gone!!!!!!!!

Well this late kick-off programme on BBC1 is meant to be talking about the transfers today, they've gone through about 5 in total and and theres only 5 minutes left. Wonder if there will be any mention of Benyon. Is it just me or has the BBC coverage this year been a bit poor at times?

I'm disappointed to be honest but i knew that he would go at some point. Just can't see who is going to replace him. Kee, i like him but needs to step it up now.
